Eléonore Simon is a French-American photographer currently based in Valparaíso, Chile.

After obtaining her master’s degree in art history (Université Lumière Lyon II and University of Pennsylvania), Eléonore moved to New York and began taking her camera on strolls throughout the city. There, she worked as a studio manager and served as a teaching assistant at the International Center of Photography.

Her photography offers an aesthetic and mysterious representation of the world: unusual camera angles, stark shadows and graphic elements create an abstracted depiction of urban life.

Her work has been exhibited in the United States, Europe and Asia and has received multiple awards, including Magenta Foundation’s Flash Forward Emerging Photographers Competition and the Latin American Fotografía award. She was a speaker at Street London (representing Women in Street), Street Photo Milano and at the Miami Street Photography Festival where she also served as a competition judge. Eléonore is a member of UP Photographers and Studio Hans Lucas.
