Mathias Wasik is a New York-based photographer who has been published in The Guardian, Interview Magazine, VICE, Slate, Mic.com, and NPR, among others.

His street photography offers a glimpse into the modern-day life in New York City, exposing both the glossy surface and darker underbelly of American culture pulled to the fore, ultimately portraying a witty, affectionate satire of a diverse and fast-paced city.

Mathias is a board member of the New York City Street Photography Collective (NYCSPC), a collective dedicated to creating and sharing the art of capturing life in public spaces.
