If you’re coming into San Francisco for the festival and are looking for a place to stay, we recommend Metro Hotel, a small boutique hotel just a few minutes’ walk away from Harvey Milk Photo Center. It’s filled with funky art, inexpensive, clean, and stylish. I checked out several rooms myself yesterday and was impressed at how nice it was for such a low price (for San Francisco, anyway).

If you are looking for luxury, it won’t suit you, but if you’re looking for good basic accommodation in a lively neighborhood with restaurants, shopping, bars, and transit, book it now, because they don’t have a lot of rooms, and it will sell out soon.

TIP: If you can’t find all the days you need, call them, because you may be able to switch from one room to another during your stay.
