The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art just re-opened after a 3-year renovation and massive expansion. It’s now one of the largest modern art museums in the world, and it is home to an enormous exhibition of photography.

On Thursday nights, the museum is open late, and we are taking advantage of this by calling on all photographers to converge on the museum from 3PM onward. This is not an official SFMOMA event, so you’ll need to get your own tickets and then just look around for other people taking photos of strangers without permission – we are sure there will be plenty. In fact, we’re considering this our photowalk of the day, because it is a great place to shoot.

Just be sure to exit in time to make it to Joe Goode Annex for the Open Show, which features 6 fantastic photographers and starts at 7:30. (Tickets required.)
